Magandang Gensan! Here are a few guitar exercises you can try out so you can improve your playing.
This maybe easy for some of you but for others this will come in handy.
EXERCISE 1: The goal of this exercise is to acquaint your fingers to the diatonic scale of any major scale. The exercise below is written in C Major but you can play it in all keys so to give your fingers the dexterity it needs to play diatonic major scales.

Exercise 2: Is a scale of ascending thirds. The goal of this exercise is to learn how to run a scale of thirds and the skipping of an interval. You can find a lot of guitar soloing involving the use of this type of exercise

Exercise 3: This is exercise is a derivation of the first 2 exercise. Using the triplets to run the diatonic major scale, this exercise can be a bit hard at the beginning but it comes very handy on any given situation.
Notes: This free exercises are meant to be played slow at first then GRADUALLY increase your speed. Remember if you play it fast and not playing it clean, your finger muscles will remember the mistakes you are committing instead of the proper execution which these exercises require. So play them carefully and slowly at first. Only then will you be able to play it at high speed.
